In the game pokemon you get charcoal that helps fire element…

“You’ve come all the way to look at herbal medicine in Lavaridge? That’s rather commendable! I like you! Take this!
That Charcoal I gave you is used for making herbal medicine. It can also do wonders when held by a Pokémon. It powers up Fire-type moves!
Herbal medicine works impressively well. But your Pokémon will dislike you for it. It must be horribly bitter!
The display reads: The more bitter it tastes, the better it works!”

I remember being told by wan to only burn ” like a rice grain” when he gave me moxa.

Can you burn moxa under rice like they do rice in korea and make a charcoal from it? All the esstial oils would remain yet it will still be charcoal. I’m guessing this would help. I use to eat some of the burned moxa when burning moxa on my cv12 (indirect) and i remember it bhelping although it may just be because i burned on cv12.

that is one way, but generally direct moxa, rice size, is teh daoist way to burn moxa.

I studied under Mike Leone in Zen Welless, and we were told of burning on belly button with salt and a little slice of ginger was best.

I did try the rice grain for two weeks but it did nothing.

I have found that direct moxa is scarring which inhibits chi flow unless you are a master and can heal it.
