Crohn's disease acupuncture treatment

Hey Guys,

One of my relatives is suffering from Crohn’s disease where his pain has subsided but continues to get diarrhoea.
He is 24 years old and initially had symptoms such as vomiting and abdomen pain, got antibiotics and was fine for a while.
Then he said the pain came back with diarrhoea this time and rectal bleeding and after they did a colonoscopy, they confirmed it was Crohn’s. After more antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs, the pain and bleeding went but not the diarrhoea.
What should be the best treatment for this?
