I have pain directly on certain acupuncture points, where it is painful to touch even lightly on the point (LU1 to be specific).
Does this only tell me that there is a problem with the corresponding organ, if that, or anything more?

I think I should start trampolining again…that would get my lungs workin again :O

Yes, there is most likely something up with your lungs, very painful to touch could suggest overall weakness too.
If you want to narrow it down though, look for other signs. How well can you handle spice? do you get out of breath fast or are u fairly fit?

its hard to tell if its a lung problem or another organ getting too weak and making the lung work harder by just that point being painful – a pulse diagnosis would be needed – but in general, the painful points are “asking” to be treated and needled – this does not mean you needle it yourself if you don’t know what you are doing.

what you can do is massage those points (slowly and for long) that hurt or feel sensitive – and this helps improve the condition as well because blood circulation increases and the energy flow is also restored (this is why massage is sometimes a treatment)

Well if you get pain in that area, it generally means cardio fitness is low, so yes, do lots of cardio, but build up to it rather than going all out.

Update: I have been both massaging and exercising and it times it does become much less painful but then other times its back to normal. I’m trying to figure out the correlation specifically.

Could be that you need exercise if it’s not wworking that well.
