I am new here and was thinking about going to see an acupuncture doctor relating to treatment. But i have never been and wanted to see what it’s like and what’s the norm in england for this.
Treatment varies but you generally just book an appointment and it is similar to a doctor’s appointment, but you are diagnosed using pulse, facial diagnoses, talking (symptoms) and any medical reports you have or known conditions.
some acupuncturist don’t even do that on the first day, it depends if you want to go ahead with the treatment after the consultation and initial appointment.
i have had treatment with clothes on, and the doctor just used arms and leg points which were easy to access. i guess it varies a lot on the doctor and their style of treatment
