EricKimParticipantOkay so i went vegatarian again. But i have been eating the vegtables whole and chewing them. Cooking with roasted garlic, its not entierly black but it is still good.
I also have been drinking beer.
After a week I had eye floaters then a headache. And general weakeness. But I persisted, but I had to stop and was forced to drink milk.
I think the food is not digesting.
In the past when I went vegatarian(vegan) I had the garlic in powder form and cooked it untill brown.
I use to also eat roasted cabbage but use to put it in a blender.
I’m pretty sure this is the problem. As when the foods digest i do not get any of these bad symptoms.
Should I powder/blend all my food first?
OR is this a sign I have some digestive issue that I need to see a doctor for?

ZKeymasterIt’s almost impossible to diagnose online, even for a professional doctor – you should still seek advice from a doctor directly to rule out any problems.
That said, vegetables are harder to digest, hence we have to cook them. Raw vegetables are hard on most peoples systems.
You can make kimchi at home using online methods of making kimchi, and that may help.
Beer is pure carbs and isn’t ideal in a diet like this however.

EricKimParticipantYes, I need to watch carbs as I ALMOST have diabetes the doctor said it was really close.
I’m going to try it again. Organic garlic is expensive so I’m going to substitute onion as it less than half the price and are in the same family as sulfur vegetable.
Yes, even cows only digest like half of the vegetable and they have four stomachs.
So I’m cooking everything black and blending it.
You know how the mortar and pestles is used for herbal medicine.
Yes I think everything has to be powdered or blended. It’s the only way. I did it in the past and it worked miraculously…to say the least.
My medicare insurance will only cover going to a TCM doctor for back pain.
I don’t see how I could have a digestive problem as how would anyone get cured
it if the herbs don’t work?A question for a doctor no doubt.
Other than that I feel I’m in fine health. just want to get the garlic high again…
Can you link me to that noagin pill as I can just drink rice wine which has no carbs.
In the Shinto religion sake is to purify you.
I had a doctor say it was detoxifying too.
That’s why I stopped the garlic and the cabbage same reason people stop drinking I thought the side effects were too much BUT
that was actually due to pesticides…
If I can’t digest food I’m gunma be in serious trouble.Hopefully this new system of grinding the food will show promise…like last time.
But the thing is I was mixing roasted garlic powder with the food so idk why that didn’t digest.

EricKimParticipantThank you for mentioning that about the vegetables everyone online believes the myth that raw veggies are better.
But I always knew we are black garlic and it’s roasted but I thought it was at low temperature or something so still raw.
This is of course false as raw veggies are so hard to digest even cows do not digest everything it just passes though.
There are stories of goats digesting whole iron nails.
Yes, or appears that even iron nails digest better than raw vegetables.
I’m eating Himalayan salt with the food too as that seems to be key to digestion
Just my observation. As I always eat a lot as it’s the closest to Taoist salt. Besides bamboo salt.9th June 2024 at 2:01 pm #2088
EricKimParticipantThe kimchi recipes online all produce a very sour product. Do I add eggshells or baking soda to that?
12th June 2024 at 11:42 am #2091
ZKeymasterfermented does make it sour – you have to store it in the correct temperature like 5 degrees celsius – not sure the fahrenheit equivalent for that.
what has eggshells or baking soda have to do with it?
its just cabbage leaves cleaned, with good quality salt, and chilli pepper flakes etc.

EricKimParticipantEggshells neutralize the sourness.Read about it online.

ZKeymasteri only know about the daoist methods of making it. not about what others have said.

EricKimParticipantOh so the eggshell part isn’t daoist. Got it.
