A friend has just found out that she is pregnant

Her primary concern is what is an ideal diet, to ensure ideal fetal development, optimum fitness for herself, even in those last heavier weeks,
and that will help her body through labour. She is 20, fit and healthy.

Any other information you feel may be relevant is also welcomed.
    Thanks.

She should eat plenty of food in general, as she is eating for two people. Lot’s of meat would be great, and organic if she can, greens.

Organ meat is also great and rich in vitamins, so this would help support the nutritional requirements of a baby. Most mothers simply don’t eat enough, and this is dangerous from eastern medical view, as well as Daoist view, as it shortens the baby’s life already.

She should do some gentle exercises, but nothing too straining for her, we don’t want the water to break early, late babies are better in most cases.
